Gratitude
is not just an emotional feeling, it is also a skill; to feel grateful you must
first be able to appreciate. Being appreciative of the kindness received and
appreciating the effect that kindness has on you is Gratitude!

Gratitude
fuels abundance. Being grateful for everything both big and small is what will
cause you to receive more. Gratitude is a needed attitude in life; one that
builds up a culture of appreciating the generosity of people.

But
appreciation is what ungrateful people lack knowledge in. People who are
ungrateful do not appreciate anything because they are never satisfied with
anything. They have a sense of entitlement and feel that whatever they receive
is due them. They never stop to paint you bad when you are unable to help them.

Ungrateful
people are never content and always looking for ways to play the victim.
Ungrateful people tend to blame everyone and everything except their lack of
appreciation. They become bitter and jealous of others.

Ungrateful
people try to recruit others in their actions. They care less about who or
where their help comes from. They always have a reason for doing what they do
and are highly pretentious! Ingratitude breeds disloyalty and a high level of
an independent spirit.

So in
this new month try practicing gratitude. Be grateful for life and for all
things both big and small. Be grateful for where you are and for who you are.
Be grateful to the people who have played a role in your life. Appreciate what
they did for you and be grateful.
