without thinking. A person who is a
spendthrift can just blow GHc1000.
He/she doesn’care if it is left with their last money – they will spend
anyways. That’s their attitude.
Reasons Why People are Spendthrift:
1. Greed: when
you are greedy you are not satisfied with what you have. A greedy person may have a lot of shoes but
will still buy more shoes. That's a greedy
person. They cannot save money.
2. To boost
their ego: a spendthrift will spend money to look good on the outside. They love fashion and always want to keep up
with latest trend in fashion so they keep investing a lot of money just to look
good and appear classic.
3. To gain
competitive advantage: for spendthrift, they are always competing with other
people… if they see someone who dresses well or wear expensive stuffs, a
spendthrift person see that person as treat or a competitor without the person

buffet and buy drinks for all the people at the bar.
Reasons

go to such extreame of spending on the parents; buying them stuffs, paying
rents and all sort of things.
·

person and sometimes behave like a child.
So if you are the sister, you wash his clothes you’ll find money in his
pocket. You’ll go to his room and there
is money everywhere; on the TV, the fridge, his couch, home theater, even on
the floor. The shambolic person will board a taxi and carelessly left the
wallet in the taxi.
·

the saver is the person who saves his money in order to invest it. The saver is a wise person. He will cut down the cost of his expenditure
to save money. Years later, the saver

investments. The saver understands that
little drops of water make a mighty ocean.
He is very wise but can be stingy at times because of their plans for
the future.
“Cast your bread upon the waters, for
you will find it after many days” Eccl 11:1
·
Sponsor: they are philanthropist who invest money
in people and help them out of their financial difficulties. The sponsors can look for a very smart young
boy who needs money to further his education and will gladly invest in such a
person. He can also invest money in an
entrepreneur or someone who is doing something great in their community. But once they invest in you, they also tend
to control your life. “Do this, do that, do it this way, don’t go to such
place”. They can also mentor you which
is also good.
·
Steward: the steward is a very faithful financial
manager. He is someone who gives account
for any money that he spend. The steward

will pay his employees at the end of every month even if the company is going
bankrupt, he will still find money to pay them.
·
Swindler: the swindler is someone who earns
money dishonestly either by fraud or duping people. A typical example is the so called ‘travel
agents’. “Wealth gained by
dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labour will increase.”
So any man who uses deceptive ways to deceive people will end up as poor
because the money they gain will not last.
Pro 13:11
·
Scheduler (budget keeper): The scheduler is the one who plans and
budget for any money before the money even comes. "A goal without a plan is just a wish"
·
Smart: the smart is the person who is able to
spot money making opportunities and take advantage of it. The smart knows that one of the easiest way
to make money is to sell what people buy regularly. “There is desirable treasure, and oil
in the dwelling of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it.” Pro 21:20

money from other people and finds it difficult to pay back. They like borrowing money a lot. "the first step to taking control of your money is to stop borrowing" Money tips

mind is to spend it on what they want.
·
The Santaclaus: they are the people who give unrestricted
money to people whether they have it or not. So when they sit in ‘trotro’, they
will tell the mate to keep their change.
When they go to a restaurant they will give tips to the waitress, when
they go for shopping too the same attitude.
·
Stingy (Arm-strong): there is a thing line
between a stingy person and the saver.
Stingy people will just not help you even if you are seriously in need
of money. They only have a receiving mentality. Their arms are close fisted and they just
don’t like giving.
·
Sower: these categories of people believe that God
has called them to be givers and kingdom financiers. They believe that God blesses them for their
giving so they give to support the work of God without thinking. They are kingdom investors so they give
happily. They sow into the kingdom
sparingly. “Now may He who supplies
seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have
sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.” 2Cor. 9:10
