The few years I’ve spent here on earth so far have
taught me not to despise people who seem not to have much to offer today.
Usually, the manifestation of our gifts are hidden in
times and seasons and the people we encounter.
Take a good look at plants. You will see that not all of them blossom at
the same time; but they eventually will.
Such is life.
One of the characters we can describe in the bible as
a late bloomer is Abraham. You can be
forgiven if you write off a 75 year old Abraham, who at that age was still in
his father’s house until God instructed him to move out; given that David made
impact at a tender age of 17 when he killed Goliath.
Fast forward, Abraham’s exploits in the Bible were so
incredible that not only is he known as the father of faith but we still make
reference to the blessings of Abraham today.
“Never conclude on people when their
time and season for manifestation has not yet been revealed.”
I have seen the shyest students in class grow up to
become great orators and public figures.
I have seen young girls who were deemed as not
beautiful grow up to become super models.
Colonel H. D. Sanders who established KFC, which is
the second largest restaurant after McDonald’s became a millionaire at the age
of 73.
Life is like a book with chapters. The fact that your chapter one is not good
doesn’t mean other chapters will not come up.
It is not too late to pursue that dream.
There is a place in the world for late bloomers. Ask Jamie Vardy of Leicester City fame.
The world awaits your breakthrough story.
