KNOCKED DOWN BUT NOT KICKED OUT

One of the greatest comeback in the history of football specifically the champions’ league was a match between Barcelona and Paris Saint German (PSG). The match was one of the toughest yet PSG was able to whip Barcelona a whopping 4 goals to nil at the end of the game in the first leg. The score line was shocking as the Catalans never anticipated such an enviable defeat by their opponent.

To concede such a number of goals in the first leg is discouraging but surprisingly Barcelona bounced back with so much energy and enthusiasm and proved the world that they are indeed the greatest club as far as football is concerned. They trash PSG by 6 goals to 1 in the second leg. That day is still unforgettable in the history of football.

In the same way, life also present us with difficult challenges that seems impossible to overcome. Just like the Catalans, I will say it is possible for you to pass through fire and come out alive. Your story may be the worst but again I say you can do it. You might have failed your exams several times but life does not end there. You might have graduated with a third class honors but all the same your life is not dependent on your degree. You might have gotten a triple D and or an F in that subject yet even, you just have to rewrite it again and again and again till you pass. It is your attitude that determines your altitude. What is your story? Is it the business that failed when you started a month ago or you don’t have money to fund that project? And you are already throwing in the towel? Well failure is part of life. I want you to understand today that failure is not the opposite of success, it is part of it.

We all experience some knocked downs in some point in our lives but we shouldn’t be discourage, we ought to keep moving because winners don’t quit! And thus we are not kicked out yet. Even if we fall a hundred times we should rise a hundred and one times; that is the attitude of victors. You can be knocked down today but in as much as there is life, there is still hope for the future.
